A unique puppet film about a love born in the midst of the hell of war. Against the backdrop of the bloody battles for the Dukla Pass unfolds an unequal love affair between a young Roma man and a German officer – two men from opposing sides and different worlds.

Hlavule follows the tradition of television puppet series. The episodes are micro-stories from the lives of personalities connected with the history of Slovakia. They offer viewers a full-fledged alternative to animated 3D stories. The series has an educational dimension but also includes humour.
